CHICAGO, June 12, 2020 - Lawdragon has recognized Longford Capital’s Timothy S. Farrell, William P. Farrell, Jr., Michael A. Nicolas, Cindy S. Ahn, and John E. Garda among the top 100 global leaders in legal finance.

After including outstanding legal funders in its guide to top legal industry consultants and advisors for four years, Lawdragon has published its inaugural guide dedicated to the growing role of legal finance in the global legal industry. The 2020 Lawdragon Global 100 Leaders in Legal Finance recognizes the increasing proliferation of the litigation finance industry and the growth of its strategic relationships with global litigation. Lawdragon based its selections on journalistic reporting, lawyer input, and vetting by clients and peers.

“We are delighted that Lawdragon has recognized our firm for the third consecutive year, including us in its first guide to focus on the litigation finance industry,” said Tim Farrell, co-founder and Managing Director of Longford Capital. “We are working with more top firms than ever before, providing capital solutions that ease the cash crunch many firms are experiencing due to the pandemic, as well as providing funding on a single case and portfolio basis, helping firms respond to client demand for alternative fee arrangements.

We remain at the leading edge of the litigation finance industry. With more than $1 billion in assets under management, we provide innovative solutions to the leading law firms, companies, universities and other entities that aim to limit the risk of pursuing meritorious legal claims, or monetize the value of legal claims without risk or delay.”
