Lawdragon Recognizes Six Members of Longford Capital in 2026 Global 100 Leaders in Litigation Finance List

CHICAGO, April 14, 2026 - Lawdragon named Longford Capital’s Marc A. Cavan, William P. Farrell, Jr., Timothy S. Farrell, John E. Garda, Russell J. Genet, and Michael A. Nicolas to its list of the 2026 Global 100 Leaders in Litigation Finance. This marks the seventh consecutive year the Longford team has been recognized since the list’s inception.

Lawdragon’s annual list spotlights leading litigation funders who provide the financial resources litigators and law firms need to broaden the matters they pursue, expand their strategic options, and strengthen access to justice – providing support for meritorious claims that might not otherwise see their day in court. Honorees are selected through a proprietary process that incorporates journalistic research, peer and expert vetting, and submissions.

“To have so many members of our team recognized by Lawdragon is a powerful affirmation of the depth of talent, experience, and leadership we have built at Longford,” said Tim Farrell, co-founder and Managing Director of Longford Capital. “This recognition reflects not only individual excellence, but also our firm’s disciplined investment approach, rigorous case selection, and continued commitment to helping law firms, corporate claimholders, and universities pursue meritorious claims with confidence. We are proud to be recognized by Lawdragon for providing innovative solutions that help support the pursuit of meritorious legal claims.”

Lawdragon has reported on leaders in litigation finance for 11 years, alongside legal consultants and advisors. Reflecting the growing impact of litigation finance on litigation globally, Lawdragon launched the Global 100 Leaders in Litigation Finance list in 2020.
